What Should I Do?

If you’re having trouble accessing your RateCards account, don’t worry—there are several steps you can take to get back in quickly and securely.

Common Login Issues & Solutions


  • Browser-related problems
  • Incorrect login details
  • Apple ID or Google login issues

Steps to Resolve Login Issues:


1. Verify Your Login Credentials:

  • Ensure you’re entering your RateCards username, not your email address.
  • If you recently changed your RateCards username, use the updated one for login.

2. Phone Number Login:

  • If using your phone number for login, avoid starting it with a 0.

3. Password Reset:

  • Reset your password using the link sent to your email inbox.

4. Account Recovery:

  • If you can’t access the email for a password reset, we may need to perform an Account Recovery. Your patience is appreciated during this process.

5. Apple ID or Google Login:

  • Check their support articles for troubleshooting if you’re facing issues with Apple ID or Google login.

6. Use the RateCards App:

  • Download the RateCards App and try logging in through the app for an alternative.

7. Check for Outages:

  • Visit our Status Page for updates on any ongoing outages.

If All Else Fails:


If you’ve exhausted the above steps and still can’t log in, please reach out to us at support@ratecards.app. In your email, provide a detailed description of the issue, and include screenshots or videos of any error messages you encounter. This additional information will aid us in resolving your problem efficiently.

When you create your RateCards, you have the option to create an account using a username/password login credentials, phone number, Apple ID or Google login. However, there are times when you might experience issues logging into your RateCards account. There are a variety of reasons why this may occur including issues with your web browser or you’ve entered the wrong details on the login page. There may also be an issue with your Apple ID or Google login. If this is the case then we recommend that you reach out to these platforms for assistance.

🔔 Note: If your account has been banned, please read our Banned Accounts article to find the steps to try and appeal a ban and get in contact with our Trust & Safety team.

If you’re having these issues, here are some tips to help you resolve this.

 

Tips to help you log in


🔔 Note: If there are too many login attempts, we may block your account. If you’re experiencing this, please allow up to 30 minutes and try again. We recommend that you reset your password on your next login attempt.

  • Make sure you’re entering your RateCards username instead of your email address for your login credentials. If you recently changed your RateCards username, you should use the new username to log in and your password will remain the same.​
  • If you used your phone number to create your account to log in, make sure that your phone number doesn’t include a 0 at the beginning of entering your number.​​
  • Reset your password. Your reset password link will be sent to the email inbox associated with your RateCards.

    🔔 Note: If you don’t have access to the email account to receive a password reset, we’ll need to do an Account Recovery to help us verify that you’re the account owner. This process requires us to do some internal security checks and we appreciate your patience as we work through this. Alternatively, you can create a new account to start a new RateCards.​
  • Apple ID or Google login may be experiencing a downtime or a bug. We recommend that you check their support articles to help with troubleshooting.​​
  • Download the RateCards App and try logging in and managing your RateCards through the app.​
  • We may be experiencing an outage. Check our Status Page for updates. If this is the case, we are working quickly to fix this ASAP. You can grab a coffee, eat a snack, and then check back in with us to see if the issue has been resolved.

If you’ve tried all of the above and you’re still unable to log in, please email us at support@ratecards.app. In the email, provide a full description of the issue and include a screenshot or a video of any error messages that you see when you try to log in. This additional information is needed to help us resolve your issue and we may ask you for more information to help us troubleshoot.
