Intellectual Property Infringements (Copyright/Trademark)
RateCards takes pride in offering the working class a dedicated space for selling their services and showcasing their work. However, we treat claims of intellectual property (IP) infringement with utmost seriousness. Infringements may manifest in various forms, such as a username, image (avatar or background), or content shared via a link on the profile.
💡Tip: Familiarize yourself with our IP Takedown Policy, including clear definitions of copyright and trademark, available here.
How to Report IP Infringement:
If you come across a RateCards profile infringing on your copyright or trademark, report it through our IP Infringement form. Your submission will undergo a thorough review by our Trust & Safety team, and you’ll receive updates or instructions via email.
For copyright claims, ensure you provide a link to the infringing RateCards profile and specific details about the infringed work, along with proof of ownership.
If disputing the use of your trademark, submit official documentation, typically in the form of a certificate. Please note that screenshots from public websites, such as search results from the USPTO website, are not accepted.
How to File a Counter-Notice:
If you receive a notification about action taken on your RateCards profile (e.g., ban or content removal) and believe it was an error, file a counter-notice via the IP Infringement form. Choose the appropriate option (copyright or trademark) and select the counter-notice option to address the issue.
