Banned Accounts

We take any instances of malicious activity on RateCards very seriously, as maintaining a safe and secure platform is our top priority. Our commitment is to ensure the removal of inappropriate and fraudulent content to uphold our Community Standards.

 

Why is my Account Banned?


If your account has been banned, it is likely due to a violation of our Community Standards. In such cases, appropriate action is taken, including the removal of offending content or a complete account ban.

In an effort to provide the highest level of security, we may suspend a user’s account, reverse certain payments and/or request certain documentation if flags are raised due to account activity that seems to be against our Terms of Service or widely accepted credit card policies. We’ll send you an email if this happens, so please check your inbox for any communications regarding your account.

 

How do I Appeal a Ban?


If you believe your content was removed or your account was banned in error, we encourage you to appeal the decision. You can do so by submitting an appeal through our Appeal a Decision form. To facilitate a prompt review by our Trust & Safety team, please ensure that you provide all required information.

It’s important to note that we only respond to appeals submitted by the account owner.

Unless your account is suspended due to a failed payment, our team will need to assist you with this process via email. Please reply to the email that you received when your account was suspended, or contact us for more information. (Note: You may need to check your spam folder)

If you’ve already been contacted by our team, please refer to any emails for instructions on your next steps. You may be asked to reset your password or verify information about your account.

💡 Tip: If you come across a specific RateCards engaging in fraudulent, spammy, or inappropriate behavior, you can report the profile using the Report A Violation form. Learn more about the reporting process here.
