Our founders come from working class backgrounds. Our families immigrated from Norway, India & other countries to America. Our forefathers provided for their family with hard labor in farming, manufacturing, construction, shipping, military service, and more.

Humble beginnings
Started in 2024
We’re a team of former engineers, designers, and operators from Google, Apple, JPMorgan Chase, UPS, and Wells Fargo. Raised by working-class parents who gave everything for their kids, we understand the value of hard work and the importance of getting paid fairly.
In 2024, co-founders Erik Norgaard and Aju Thomas, along with a small group of colleagues, identified a major problem in the labor market: people needed a simpler way to get paid for their services and time.
The system was broken. It wasn’t working for workers or employers. So we got to work — late nights, early mornings — and launched the first version of RateCards. Since then, it’s been transforming how people get paid.
